Goodbye my sweet friend....

"I wanted to share something deeply personal. A week ago, I lost a dear friend to cancer, and it hit me hard since she was only my age. When I learned that she had just a few weeks left, I travelled across the country to visit her because I needed to say goodbye and support her one last time. It was incredibly difficult to see her in such a fragile state, a stark contrast to the vibrant woman I once knew.

When I arrived, she was in hospice care, and my heart ached for the tremendous loss we all faced. While editing the wake video for her family, a wave of sadness washed over me. It’s hard to believe how swiftly her battle with cancer progressed; she received her diagnosis at the beginning of last year, and we lost her on the 4th.

I stayed with family for over a week, but I had to return home due to appointments I could not miss. Just two days after I got home, she passed away. It’s heartbreaking how quickly cancer can take someone."
